Day 17... a duh moment & a re-weigh in :-)


I went to the Dr. this morning with Art, seeing as how I don't have to be at work until 1:15 PM today... & while I was there I decided I would weigh myself again. And to my delight I lost more weight :-) I lost 1 more pound since Monday!!! :-) as you can see on my weight loss ticker at the top of my blog I have lost a total of 11 pounds altogether now! I'm very happy about this :-) this is definitely a step in the right direction for me.

I still have sometimes have that negative voice in my head that makes me question myself if I can truly go the distance and lose the 100 pounds. It's such a big number, & I've never lost more than 30 total. But small successes like this, give me hope. I would be happy with 2 pounds a week. I know it's going to take me about a year... and that is actually what my goal is. I'll be completely happy with that as long as it keeps moving in the right direction.

Food Journal:

Breakfast:
Orange Juice, 5 fl oz
Milk, nonfat, 0.5 cup
MultiGrain Cheerios Cereal, 0.5 cup
Regular Coffee, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
Cream substitute, Coffee-mate fat free, 4 tsp

Lunch:
Apples, fresh, 1 small (2-1/2in. dia) (approx 4 per lb)
Lettuce, leaf salad, 2 cup, shredded
Best Foods Regular Mayonnaise, 0.5 tbsp
Chicken of the Sea Chunky Light Tuna in Water, 1 serving
Wishbone Italian Dressing, 1 tbsp
Bread, reduced-calorie, wheat, 2 slice

Dinner:
Mini Homemade Pizza w/ chicken & bell peppers
& a salad w/ Kraft Zesty Italian Salad Dressing, 0.4 tbsp
ingredients:
--Cheddar or Colby Cheese, Low Fat, 0.13 cup, shredded
--Chicken Breast, no skin, 2 ounces
--Yellow Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 pepper, large (3-3/4in. long, 3in. dia)
--Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added, 0.13 cup
--Bread, italian, 2 slice, large (4-1/2in. x 3-1/4in. x 3/4in.)

Snacks:
Coffee-mate Sugar Free French Vanilla (powder), 2.5 tbsp
Regular Coffee, 1 cup (8 fl oz)

Water:
5 cups

Exercise:
30 min Wii Boxing Game
